Juli Perez (they/them) is a nonbinary photojournalist, youth advocate, and yogi based in South Central L.A. 
Their work is grounded in decolonial, intersectional feminist, and queer frameworks, exploring the juxtapositions of identity and culture to create and support works that highlight BIPOC narratives.

Juli is a mentor at Las Fotos Project. Their work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times via De Los, contributing to the broader conversation around Latinx identity and representation in contemporary media. Through their practice, Juli is committed to documenting stories that celebrate resilience and reframe traditional narratives around community and selfhood.
